Here are this week's ministry opportunities at Cynthiana Christian Church, "A People Who Care!"
Cynthiana Christian Church is celebrating Jesus Christ as Word of God and our Savior during this Season of Epiphany with its liturgical color of green. "Epiphany" comes from a Greek word which means appearance, showing or manifestation. We are also celebrating how gradually God manifested Himself to the world...and still is! There are three biblical "epiphanies" which guide us in this wonderful celebration: 1) through the visit of the Magi, the Light is made known to the world; 2) through Jesus' baptism the Jordan River, God is manifested to His chosen people; and, 3) through the miracle at the wedding in Cana in the presence of the disciples, God is manifested to the church. All three are epiphanies of God in the world.
Come join our celebration through our ministries, times of Bible study and worship as we find God with us!
Sunday, February 10, 2019:
* Today is Wear Red to Church Sunday in Harrison County, Kentucky. If you have worn read, today, please stay after the Morning Worship Service of Thankful Praise for the group picture to appear in the newspaper. It will take only a few extra minutes.
* The Barnabas Team will meet in the conference room following the Morning Worship Service of Thankful Praise. This team extends words of encouragement others by cards, phone calls or personal contact on behalf of the congregation. Call the church office if you would like to be a member who serves once a month.
* Youth: All youth will meet at the church from 4:00 to 5:00 PM.

Thursday, February 14, 2019:
* The Lord's Lunch Group will be delivering hot lunches. If you would like to join this wonderful ministry of love and care to deliver one to three lunches in about a half hour, show up at the church kitchen about 11:00 AM any Thursday! The joy you share will bless your heart as well!!!!!
Friday, February 15, 2019:
* Youth Breakfast Club (7:30 AM) will meet at the church.
Saturday, February 16, 2019:
* Men's Bible Study (8:00 AM).
Wear Red to Church Sunday! Everyone is asked to wear red and stay for a picture following the Morning Worship Service of Thankful Praise.
